I found an old drawing pad from 10 years ago that I hadn’t filled. It had pretty bad drawings in it. I decided to add another bad drawing to it.
Filled the whole page, can you believe it? Start to finish. No digital work. Just some pen and ink labor. Lots of lots of lines with liners. Lots and lots of strokes with the brush pen. It never ended until suddenly it was finally finished.
Filling in the “trees” with line work was painful. Coloring the background was therapeutic though. It was like the perfect ying and yang of torture and calm.
I actually never really want to look at this again. It was good practice and I’m proud I finished it though. Check out a video of it below. Thanks to my pal Joe for the name!
