Checking these boys off one by one. I had this idea for awhile. I may do another version of it with a flatter design style.
Hitmonlee is one of the cooler Pokemon. Not necessarily my top ten but he’s up there okay? Was always confused by his foil, Hitmonchan, though. Is that a dress? Who knows.
Sketched this out in the sketchbook and slapped into the old Illustrator machine. Did all the line work then for a change of pace colored it in Photoshop using halftone dots. I like that approach a lot and my incorporate it into more stuff.
