My cousin-in-law (if that’s a thing) Dylan asked me to throw together some designs for a release of 2 new songs and of course I said hell yeah. The songs are rad.
I was laying in bed listening to the tracks and damn I was impressed. I got the idea for The Last of the Elephants immediately. Ran it by Dylan and he said hell yeah.
Started sketching out the concept in the book. Drew a pretty rough idea. Looked kinda crappy, but I was excited, so I just went straight into Illustrator and really tweaked the crap. Eventually it somewhat resembled an elephant.
Tweaked the colors, sent it to Dylan and he gave the thumbs up. Dude is the easiest person I’ve ever designed for. Ever.
